I use this app whenever I travel, and even in my own town. Its a great way to find awesome places to go. Your also interacting with your friends at the same time. 100% better than google, its is simply the best.

Super helpful app. I use it in NYC all the time, especially if I’m in a new neighborhood. Traveling abroad it’s even better - just used it in Sydney and had the best day living like a local.

I use map filters all the time and this update brings them to the map - nicely done!

What I have always wanted in a map. My personal, customized map with favorite places to eat and things to do at my fingertips with personal notes on favorite dishes from previous visits. The best, most reliable way to find new places with recommendations from friends. Superb update allowing quick topical views

This app has everything youve ever wanted in an maps app! I love that you can save locations for later viewing. Overall this app is fantastic and is easy to use. Perfect for the spontaneous adventurer!

Maps work well offline & show lots of useful points of interest.

I use this app all the time when planning trips because you can have everyone on the trip add places and the map format makes it easy to see how to order your itinerary for max convenience/efficiency. Also great if you travel/live abroad and people are always asking for recs - I made a few maps for cities I am always asked about and just refer everyone to the app! Best part: they are continuing to improve Citymaps, so it just keeps getting more useful - they just added offline functionality which is key when traveling!

This app is awesome for keeping track of all the spots you want to check in your own city and abroad. The new offline feature allows you to download maps with all the places you want to hit without Internet (a dramatic improvement over the days of emailing myself lists and hoping my guidebook maps were sufficient). I also love the social aspect of the app- you can co- create and share lists, check out others lists (whether or not they follow you), read and add reviews, etc. Its a great (and super user friendly) way to interact with others and to explore your own city and any city youre planning to visi

I love CityMaps. I started using it as soon as I read that you could download a map and use it while offline. It works really good for when you are in a new city and do not have Internet coverage and you have no idea where you are. It has given me piece of mind to know I can always figure out a way to get back home even if I get lost in a new city. Amazing! The only thing that doesnt always load on the offline map are all of the street names, but I reached out to the team at CityMaps and they told me they will be working on this.

The apps is very slow in obtain informations and its not up to date. I give two star cause it find your location and what is close to you.

I absolutely love this app and highly recommend it. This is the only map I use for navigating cities, following friends or trendsetters, and finding the best local spots.

So I just moved to a new city area, and the app is very helpful in discovering all types of places, especially ones that might be a bit hidden and arent located on the major streets.

Easy to use, and easy to customize, this app lets me download, highlight info important to me, add ( or not) reccs from others. But most important, I can access my maps offline, on the go!

Its useful and very helpful app

I started using this app from the start. I loved it then and love it more now. The updates never seize to amaze me. Great email feedback time . Great work guys. Keep it up. But lately I havent gotten email responses. No big deal since I figured it out myself.

Great for offline maps

Awesome app that makes it easy to collect and curate local recommendations. I use Citymaps to plan and dream about the trips I want to take and share recommendations with friends. I have now used the app in more than a dozen different cities all over the world and it always helps me navigate like a local. Must download for those that like to discover new things!
